"It’s always interesting to play saxophone solos, because when you stop there is silence and you have to work with that.
This was my third solo saxophone concert, the previous ones were in art jazz club and at la scena, about two years ago.

Instant compositions fared better than the few actual tunes. there’s work to do in order to blend these two approaches. somebody said there was “too much funk” and they might be right. I would have liked to know how to play the bass, and I guess it shows. is there such a thing as “too much funk”?
People were listening very closely.
